Dear PV Community,

We would like to thank everyone for being so understanding in this difficult time for all of us.  You are truly an awesome example of humanity.

The latest is that we are closed at least until April 24th.  I think most of you would agree that Pleasant Valley is an essential business, but unfortunately the state of Wisconsin doesn’t see it that way.

Here is what we are doing to date.  All memberships are “on hold” starting April 1st.  Monthly members will not be charged until we open again.  Annual memberships will have their renewal dates pushed out equal to the time we have been closed.  Note that your monthly statements will indicate a charge for your membership, followed by a COVID-19 credit of the same amount.  This is what has been advised by those who are much smarter than us, but will result in no membership charge to you for the duration of Safer at Home period.

The one thing we are sure of is that there are more unknowns than answers.  This is unchartered territory, so if you do have questions please contact myself or Jean via email (see signature line below) and we will do our best to get you information.  This is difficult as things are in a constant state of change, but we’ll do our best.

For tennis members who are in leagues and permanent court time we will address the play interruption in the near future as timelines are determined.  Stay tuned and trust that we are discussing solutions regularly and will have a plan as this situation plays out.

Pickleball courts will be waiting when you get back!

For fitness maintenance please check out our Facebook page for workouts provided by our instructors (thank you!).  In addition we will be subscribing to an online service that provides home based workouts.  You will receive a separate email regarding how to take advantage of that programming!

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families.  We all have fears, but we will persevere.

Be safe, be well, be strong ~
